Profile of Attendance

Over 300 delegates are expected to attend Pancreas 2018. The 2016 Conference in Glasgow attracted this number, as did the previous Conferences in Verona (2014) and Kyoto (2012).  A very strong scientific and educational program, combined with the attractiveness and accessibility of Baltimore as a destination, leads us to be confident of an excellent attendance at the 2018 Conference.  The treatment of pancreatic cancer requires close cooperation between specialists from different medical disciplines as well as those involved in research into the disease, so while the majority of delegates will be specialist clinicians and surgeons, the support of an interdisciplinary approach towards research, treatment and care will be one of the key objectives of Pancreas 2018.
